

Greg Domantay created Run Chicago over 17 years ago as a venue for runners to achieve their highest ability and performance. Leveraging his advanced degrees in bioscience and exercise physiology as well as his 30+ years as a competitive runner, Greg shares his unmatched experience and knowledge to runners of every age and ability.
He has competed at the highest national and international levels, and won dozens of races at distances from 400 meters to the half-marathon. He has been nationally ranked at various distances and continues to compete and challenge his own personal records.
But perhaps more significant than his running record is his legacy as a coach in the Chicago area. Over his nearly two decades of coaching, Greg has assembled a world class community of runners who support each other's endeavors. His enthusiasm for and devotion to the sport of running is infectious, and he's inspired hundreds of athletes at every level to achieve their goals.
